DJ Fred at Addiction nightclub “I was a trained and studied jazz musician,” Grimmel says during an exclusive interview for THE MODERN HONOLULU. He learned and played a variety of instruments when he studied at the Musician’s Institute. Yet, he was already immersed in the nightclub scene, having worked his way through various companies in Los Angeles.
