The fans had all the power, and their wise choices were celebrated at Telemundo’s third annual Premios Tu Mundo awards, held Thursday night at AmericanAirlines Arena in downtown Miami.

The event — in which fans choose their favorite actors, singers and TV moments — kicked off with a blue carpet performance by Joseguillermo Cortines and the band Bachaco, the winner of Telemundo’s Buscando Mi Ritmo. Yandel, along with his brother General Gadiel and Farruko with DJ RAVI DRUMS, performed the hit Plakito to kick off the show. Also appearing onstage: Colombian superstar Juanes; Los Tucanes de Tijuana; merengue royalty Olga Tañon and Elvis Crespo; Alexis & Fido; and iconic rock band La Ley, whose members reunited on the stage.
